After a strong comeback win against the Detroit Red Wings, the Rangers head to Nashville to take on a surprising Predators team that had rattled off 6 straight wins last month. That win streak included some impressive wins, but was also sandwiched between a bad loss to Minnesota and four losses in a row. Nashville isn’t a great team, but they have strong enough defense and goaltending to steal some wins.

The Rangers are still without two top forwards, which has certainly impacted their ability to generate sustained offense. That will continue to be an issue for the foreseeable future, so they will need to continue to manage through strong team defense and limiting high danger chances against.

Given how they’ve played this season, it shouldn’t be too much of an ask.
