Per Larry Brooks, injured Rangers center Filip Chytil has resumed skating on his own. Chytil has been out for three weeks since suffering a rumored concussion in the win over Carolina on November 2. Chytil’s absence has contributed to the Rangers’ struggles at 5v5 and a top heavy lineup. His return is critical for the Blueshirts.
Chytil has begun skating on his own, per Laviolette. Igor in nets v Flyers.

Until he comes back, Tyler Pitlick will continue to draw into the lineup with Barclay Goodrow shifting to center the 4th line. Nick Bonino has been functioning as the 3C in Chytil’s absence. It doesn’t take a giant leap of faith to say Zibanejad-Trocheck-Chytil-Bonino is better than Zibanejad-Trocheck-Bonino-Goodrow.
