The Rangers have recalled defenseman Connor Mackey in advance of tonight’s showdown in New Jersey.

The recall isn’t much of a surprise with Adam Fox out and Ryan Lindgren still a little banged up. The hope is that Lindgren can play tonight, since he returned to practice the other day, but that appears to be up in the air. The Rangers do need Lindgren back, especially against a team like the Devils, but it’s more important for him to heal.
November games aren’t as important as April and May games.
