Rangers Minnesota Wild

After an eventful win at MSG against the Carolina Hurricanes, the banged up Rangers travel to Minnesota to take on a Wild team that is in the middle of a free fall. The Wild have lost four straight, are near the bottom of their division, and there doesn’t seem to be a way out just yet. They are far better than their record though, so perhaps this is just a blip for them.

The Rangers are not going into this game at full strength, and will be without three top of the lineup players. Adam Fox, Filip Chytil, and Igor Shesterkin are all out tonight and possibly longer. This is the first test of adversity for the Blueshirts this season, and it won’t be the last. It’s a good thing they’ve banked points, because this is going to be a difficult stretch for them. They have the skill to overcome.
