The Rangers continue their good start to the season tonight as they take on the Nashville Predators. The Preds are basically just Juuse Saros and a bunch of guys, and now that I said that you know it’s a trap game. But that doesn’t necessarily make it incorrect. The Blueshirts are coming off a rather dull game against Arizona, so hopefully the offense wakes up for this one.
Igor Shesterkin gets the start in this one, a bit of a puzzling move since it should be a soft landing spot for Jonathan Quick. But we covered that already. Perhaps the Rangers just want to set the tone with some wins early on as they adjust. It’s likely Quick gets the start in Seattle, but that’s two days away. For now, they will want the two points against Nashville.
