The NY Rangers leadership group has added another ‘A’ to the fold, as Adam Fox has been given an alternate captain letter this season. Fox joins returning alternates Barclay Goodrow, Chris Kreider, Artemi Panarin, and Mika Zibanejad.

Jacob Trouba still has the captaincy. Fox is being penciled in by many as the future captain once this leadership group moves on from either the Rangers or hockey in general. That’s still a ways away, as the Rangers are still in their window to win a Stanley Cup with the current leadership core.
