Most of the BSB group missed this yesterday, as it wasn’t tweeted from the Rangers account, but from their PR account. Mildly infuriating. Anyway, Louis Domingue and Mac Hollowell were both assigned to Hartford yesterday in another round of cuts.
TRANSACTIONS: Goaltender Louis Domingue and defenseman Mac Hollowell have been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

This isn’t a surprise to anyone. Neither were making the team. Domingue was getting some hype because Jonathan Quick has looked awful so far. But again, it’s preseason. Quick will get a few games and will hopefully be ready for the season to start. Otherwise, this is an area the Rangers are going to need to address pretty quickly.
