Yesterday’s monsoon has come and gone, and the Rangers will actually be in Queens/Long Island tonight to take on the Islanders in a game that was postponed from yesterday. Most of the lineup is known at the moment, but it wasn’t complete. Still, Vince Mercogliano was able to deduce who was playing tonight based on who was at practice earlier.
The Rangers have cut a lot of the veterans from camp, leaving only those with a shot at making the team. It does seem like one of Will Cuylle or Brennan Othmann have the inside track for now, as both have been playing well and have been elevated in the lineup. Jonny Brodzinski, as long as he remains captain of the Wolf Pack, is likely on the outside looking in for now. But that could change.
