The 2023 Rangers training camp roster was released yesterday with little fanfare and fewer surprises on the roster. There won’t be many battles in camp, but there are still some things to watch as camp and the preseason unfold over the next few weeks.

Aside from Kaapo Kakko’s name being backwards, or perhaps the Rangers just accidentally invited his evil twin, there isn’t much to look at on the roster. There are some number changes and some guys who now have been through development camp, prospect camp, and now will join the Rangers in training camp.
Just a note, no NCAA players will be joining the Rangers at camp, as per usual. It would void their NCAA eligibility. So no Gabriel Perreault.
