mac hollowell rangers

The NY Rangers added another pair of defensemen for the Hartford Wolf Pack, inking 24 year old Mac Hollowell and 28 year old Nikolas Brouillard to one year contracts. Hollowell, a 2018 4th round pick by the Leafs, has 6 games of NHL experience, notching a pair of assists with the Leafs last year. Brouillard is a pure AHL player, putting up about 40 points and 120 PIMs per season.

Neither of these guys are going to be considered NHL players, but they are productive AHLers, something the Pack need. It looks like Chris Drury and Ryan Martin are looking to build on last year’s surprising run to the Eastern Conference Final, and hopefully turn the Pack into a relevant team once again.
