Adam Fox is a Norris finalist again.

Surprise surprise, Adam Fox is a Norris Trophy finalist again. He, Erik Karlsson, and Cale Makar are the three finalists this year. Fox set a career high with 12 goals this year, finishing with 72 points. Fox was also very clearly the most important Ranger on the ice, as the Rangers offense notably tanked whenever he was on the bench. This was especially true in the playoffs.

It is expected that Karlsson, who finished with an amazing 25 goals and 101 points, completely shattering career highs across the board, will win the award. He is the first defenseman to hit 100 points since the 1991-1992 season, when some guy named Brian Leetch also hit 102 points. Makar also had a great season with 17 goals and 66 points.

It seems that Fox and Makar are perennial finalists for the Norris in their young careers. Both have already won it once, and each will likely be finalists for years to come.
