Rangers assign 4 to AHL for the Hartford playoff run
The Rangers have assigned four players to the AHL for the Hartford playoff run, bolstering their roster for the 2023 Calder Cup Playoffs. Jonny Brodzinski, Louis Domingue, Libor Hajek, and Jake Leschyshyn, who were with the Rangers as the Black Aces, are heading back to help the Pack.

The AHL playoffs took a different look this year, with 11 teams in the East and 12 teams in the West qualifying, and the top two teams getting byes to the second round. Hartford, the #5 seed in the Atlantic beat #6 seed Springfield in the first round and are up 2-0 on top seeded Providence in the Atlantic semi final, a best-of-five series.
