Per Colin Stephenson, the NY Rangers lineup tonight will still be without Ryan Lindgren, missing his second straight game after returning for one game following missing 10 in a row. Quality injury management there. Jaro Halak will get the start.

The Lindgren news is another gut punch. Lindgren clearly suffered a setback, and its also clear the Rangers screwed this one up by not placing him on LTIR before the trade deadline. Doing so now does little, so they just need to wait it out. No Lindgren again means more Ben Harpur against a Florida team fighting for their playoff lives.
With the Rangers in cruise control for the most part, expect more Halak in net as they look to keep Igor Shetserkin fresh. Also, Halak has been very good lately, so the Rangers aren’t downgrading too much for a game.
