The Ryan Lindgren injury will at least give him some much needed time off.

Per Colin Stephenson, the NY Rangers lines tonight have been shuffled again, with the Kid Line reuniting (again) after being broken up on Sunday afternoon. Artemi Panarin and Patrick Kane have also been separated, as their results together simply weren’t good enough.

The big news is that Ryan Lindgren is still out, missing his eighth straight game. It makes you wonder if they were better off just shutting him down for the season, letting him get healthy, and perhaps pick up an extra body or two at the trade deadline. Too late now, but this is looking like a bad mistake by Chris Drury and (presumably) Ryan Martin.

On the bright side, Panarin and Vladimir Tarasenko had a good thing going for them before Kane’s acquisition, so hopefully they can find that magic again.

It does seem that all Gallant needs to do is flip the 1C and 2C spots and he will be at what most fans want to see. Perhaps we get that later tonight?
