NY Rangers trade Vitali Kravtsov to Vancouver for nothing.

The New York Rangers have traded Vitali Kravtsov to the Vancouver Canucks for pennies on the dollar in a move to free up cap space for Patrick Kane’s arrival.

The Rangers receive forward William Lockwood, a 24 year old winger currently in the AHL. Lockwood is barely a tweener, and the 7th round pick in the 2026 draft is a dart throw three drafts from now.

Kravtsov had no value, and this trade shows it.
