The Rangers continue to roll, even with their OT loss in Calgary the other night, with points in 10 straight. Their 7 game win streak may have been snapped in Calgary with the OT loss, but they are still one of the hottest teams in the NHL. The Blueshirts just got more dangerous too, shoring up the fourth line with the Motte/Gauthier swap, adding another shutdown element to the fourth line.
Working against the Rangers tonight is their schedule. They played late Saturday night in Calgary and had a travel day home yesterday. This is less than a 48 hour turnaround between games across three time zones. Luckily, the Jets are on the second of a back to back and the Rangers are, as of the writing of this post (4pm), facing their backup in David Rittich.
