rangers flames tempers

The Rangers conclude their Western Canada road trip tonight in Calgary. Earlier this month, the Rangers and Flames played possibly the best hockey game of the year, with the Rangers eventually getting two points. The Blueshirts are looking to complete the sweep and extend their winning streak to 8 games. The Flames are looking to get to a tie with the Minnesota Wild for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference.

This has been a tough stretch for the Rangers, and their 2-0 record on this trip is a bit misleading. They’ve certainly struggled defensively, and while Calgary isn’t an offensive juggernaut, they can make teams pay. The Blueshirts are firing on all cylinders, but they need to be tighter in their own zone.
