rangers game oilers

Don’t look now, but the Rangers are streaking. Winners of six in a row and seven of their last eight, the Rangers have separated themselves from the wild card pack with a comfortable lead on third place in the Metro Division. Amazingly enough, this run, and the 21-4-3 record since the helmet throw, hasn’t even helped them gain ground on the Canes. In fact, they lost ground. Go figure. They did gain 11 points on the Devils, and they are in striking distance.

The Oilers are another tough test with their ridiculous offense. The Blueshirts have had issues on defense lately, so this could be a track meet. Luckily, the Rangers have the advantage on the blue line and in net, which gives them a more balanced attack. Still, when it’s McDavid out there, all bets are off.
