Did the NY Rangers win streak save Gallant's job?

The NY Rangers had their seven game winning streak snapped on Tuesday night by a combination of the Pittsburgh Penguins (specifically Tristan Jarry), the referees, and Sammy Blais’ lack of discipline. Did that Rangers win streak save Gallant’s job? Possibly. Still, there were lots of positives to take from the game and this recent stretch which saw the Blueshirts get their season back on track and reenter the playoff mix at the top of the Metropolitan Division. Live From The Blue Seats breaks down the Pittsburgh loss, which at times felt like a flashback to last April.

The gang also discusses the future of Sammy Blais as a Ranger, coach Gerard Gallant’s cryptic comments about already knowing his “perfect lines”, and whether or not the Rangers are #actually #good. The listener questions are a hit, as always.
