The Rangers are on a winning streak. They’ve won three in a row after going 0-2-2 in their previous four. They are now starting to show why they are a Stanley Cup contender and why they are picked by many to make another run. The goaltending is starting to come around, as Igor Shesterkin is getting into a rhythm. The shooting is coming around, albeit slowly, and will continue to turn itself around.

The Bruins are just kinda hanging around, like they are playing poker in Rounders. They are 9-1, which is absurd, and have an amazing 45 goals in 10 games. Even against bad teams, that’s insane. They aren’t going to finish with a 90% win rate, so crashing back down to Earth is inevitable, and why not start against the Rangers? Seems like as good a time as any.
