It looks like Kaapo Kakko will rejoin the top line, his first time since the first preseason game, while Jimmy Vesey gets second line duties in tonight’s Rangers preseason finale lines. Dryden Hunt, Vitali Kravtsov, and Julien Gauthier will be the scratches up front.
Lines look the same as yesterday:
Kreider – Zib – Kakko
Panarin – Trocheck – Vesey
Laf – Chytil – Goodrow
Blais – Carpenter – Reaves
Hunt – Kravtsov – Gauthier#NYR— Vince Z. Mercogliano (@vzmercogliano) October 7, 2022
As noted yesterday, the defense pairs are likely what we will see on opening night, just without Ryan Lindgren. Libor Hajek, who has apparently won the 7D spot over Jarred Tinordi, will play in Lindgren’s place tonight alongside Jacob Trouba.
