Brennan Othmann (1st, 2021), Will Cuylle (2nd, 2020), and Dylan Garand (4th, 2020) all won gold at the 2022 World Juniors this week. The 2022 World Juniors were held in August this year after they were postponed following a Covid outbreak during the original planned dates in December/January.
Othmann finished with 2 goals and 6 points in 6 games. Will Cuylle had 2 goals and 4 points (and 25 PIM) in 7 games. Garand was masterful, starting 6 games and putting up a 1.98 GAA with a .925 SV% and going undefeated.
Cuylle and Garand will join the Hartford Wolf Pack this season. Othmann is too young to join the Pack, but will likely get an extended look at Rangers training camp in September.
