tim gettinger contract

The Rangers have re-signed forward Tim Gettinger to a one year contract. Gettinger, the Rangers 5th round in in 2016, has played in 16 NHL games over four years, notching an assist in the 2019-2020 season as his only NHL point to date.

Gettinger was the last AHL RFA the Rangers needed to re-sign, as Austin Rueschhoff signed a 1 year, $750k ($80k in the AHL) contract last week. It is expected that both players will be leading the Hartford Wolf Pack next season.

With Gettinger locked up, the only piece of the puzzle remaining is Kaapo Kakko.
