calvin de haan rangers trade deadline predictions

With the deadline just a few hours away, it’s time for some Rangers trade deadline predictions. We already saw the Rangers acquire Frank Vatrano for a 4th round pick. But it is highly unlikely to be their last deal before the 3pm deadline today. The Rangers likely need at least one more forward, could be in the market for another, plus a defenseman.

I asked the BSB team to put together their trade deadline predictions, and now you get to rip us apart.

Russ: 2022 2nd and Zac Jones for Rickard Rakell; 2023 2nd and Matthew Robertson for Andrew Copp.

Brandon: 2nd, 3rd, and Lauri Pajuniemi for Rakell; Alex Georgiev for James Reimer; 2023 3rd for Alex Radulov; 4th for Calvin de Haan; 2029 7th for Connor McDavid

Becky: One left kidney for Alex Debrincat

Conall: 2nd and Vitali Kravtsov for Rakell; 3rd, 5th, and a B prospect for Copp; 6th for de Haan

Rob C: 2nd for Rakell; 3rd for someone no one has mentioned yet

Rob L: 2nd, 3rd, Robertson for Rakell; 3rd for Copp; 5th for Phil Kessel

Dave: 2022 5th for de Haan; Georgiev, Gauthier, and a 2023 2nd for Kailer Yamamoto; 2023 6th for Anton Forsberg

The good news is that we will be live on Twitter Spaces tonight at 8pm to discuss what the Rangers do (or didn’t do), and how right we were (or weren’t). Be sure to tune in!
