rangers detroit red wings

The NHL extended their COVID shutdown, postponing all games through December 27. This news came late on Christmas Eve. This means the Ranger game on Monday against Detroit has been postponed. Given the news that the league won’t go to the Olympics, it’s safe to assume that this, along with the Montreal game last week, will be rescheduled to that time frame.

With this postponement, and assuming there are no more, the Rangers will get 11 days between games. That’s great for the bumps and bruises they occurred along the way. It’s also great given their recent play had been lacking. It’s a solid reset.
