The Rangers have placed Igor Shesterkin on IR, following yesterday’s lower body injury. Shesterkin must miss at least a week, so he will be out until, at the very least, next Sunday’s game against Nashville. He will miss at least four games.
#NYR have also recalled F Morgan Barron from Hartford and placed Igor Shesterkin on IR.
Shesterkin must miss at least a week, which means the next three games at a minimum.
It's Alexandar Georgiev's show for now.

In response, the Rangers have recalled goalie Adam Huska. Huska may get one of the Chicago/Colorado back to backs next week, but it is unlikely.
The Rangers have also recalled forward Morgan Barron, who was recalled two days ago, sent back down (without an announcement) yesterday, and then recalled again today. Wild ride for the kid.
