Hunt is more in the Greg McKegg kind of signing, likely to be depth and bounce between the AHL and NHL. He was with the Yotes last season, putting up 3-5-8 in 26 games. His AHL stat line was 13-16-29 in 35 games.
This is a sneaky good depth move, one that puts pressure on some of the guys vying for a fourth line spot. Think Colin Blackwell, just very unlikely to see the same level of success. Good dart throw here.
