Rangers select goalie Talyn Boyko with final fourth round pick (#112)

With their final fourth round pick (#112), the Rangers selected goalie Talyn Boyko out of Tri City in the WHL. Boyko put up a .901 SV% with Tri City last season in 14 games, which was a pretty rough team.

Boyko is 6’7″ and 196 lbs, he’s a monster in net. Remember that not all good goalies are big, and not all big goalies are good. Goalies are voodoo, but he’s likely better than his stats show, since his team was bad.
