Around the Farm: NY Rangers prospects entering the home stretch

The NY Rangers prospects are entering the home stretch of the 2021 season. In Europe, it’s just Lauri Pajuniemi and Adam Edstrom in action. In the WHL, Braden Schneider has already finished his season, with the other trio of prospects hitting the final few weeks. In the AHL, they have just three games remaining.

These games are from Saturday, as I got bogged down with house work on Sunday and lost track of time.

  • I like Adam Edstrom’s play off numbers. He’s probably a long shot but If he could work out as a 4C in the NHL one day that would a big positive for us.

    • Very big. Who knows? Imagine if he, Gettinger and maybe Rempe moved to the wing–all made it as 4th liners? That’s a big fourth line. Unfortunately all three are long shots–with Rempe being almost a 100% guaranteed never to see an AHL game let alone an NHL game. But that would be a giagantic 4th line!

      • He’ll be a 100% AHL player, a lot of work needed to get to the NHL: same thing was said about Alex True.

    • Edström still playing top line matchup minutes & starting most games. Not scoring now in the finals, but also not getting scored on.
