The Rangers have returned defenseman Matthew Robertson to the WHL to prepare for his season with the Edmonton Oil Kings.
Rangers have sent Matthew Robertson to WHL Edmonton for pre-camp quarantine. Braden Schneider will remain with Wolf Pack until necessary to return to WHL Brandon for his quarantine. Teams are in different divisions with different start times.

Returning Robertson to the WHL was always going to happen, assuming the WHL had a season. It looks like they are going to actually have a season, which is great for Robertson.
Per Brooks, Braden Schneider, currently on an AHL deal, will also be returning to the WHL once his team’s division is set to play. Schneider will be with the Brandon Wheat Kings this season.
