Reunanen is a dark horse candidate to break camp with the Rangers. He’s a well rounded player who was getting 20+ minutes a night in Liiga. He finished his HPK season with a line of 1-1-2 in 7 games while playing on the top pair. This came after he completely demolished Mestis (Finnish AHL) on a loan.
It is expected that while in camp, Tarmo Reunanen will compete with Jack Johnson, K’Andre Miller, and Brendan Smith for a starting spot on left defense.
