Around the Farm: Henriksson (one assist) bests Lundkvist in 4-1 win

It was a slow day yesterday for the NY Rangers prospects. The big game was a showdown between Karl Henriksson’s Frolunda and Nils Lundkvist’s Lulea in the SHL. Henriksson recorded an assist in Frolunda’s 4-1 win over Lulea. Adam Edstrom and Hugo Ollas were also in action.

  • Kravtsov speaks good English(check). He isn’t afraid to come to the states(double check).. Those qualities alone put him ahead of Buch’s player development..

    The lack of strong vet presenace was what did him in last summer.. Prior to that he was known as a bubbly kid (he’s already tight with Panarin).. He would have fit well under the AV era and with that roster.. I see a Kyle Conner in his play-style but I hope they try him as a center soon.

    Two of the rookies (Krav, Laffy and Kakko) should be able to replace Kreider and Strome on the PP by 2022. It’s just a shame that one of them will have to be on the PP2 for a while.
