Jack Johnson is….not good. Yes, there’s a connection. But he’s no better than Marc Staal, and it would be a very bad deal.
Trading Staal and a 2nd rounder just to add Jack Johnson is terrible for the Rangers. It’s borderling negligent, to be honest. Hopefully this is just interest.
Even on a short term deal, this is just bad all around. Let’s see what comes of it.
