After much hullabaloo about the NY Rangers qualifying offers, we finally have some answers. All RFAs except Ryan Gropp received a qualifying offer. Gropp will will become an unrestricted free agent on Friday.
Rangers have qualified Phil DiGiuseppe and Brandon Crawley. Team did not qualify Ryan Gropp, chosen in the 2015 second round with the pick obtained from Anaheim in the Carl Hagelin deal. Winger never played a game with NYR. Emerson Etem, the other piece, played 19 games.

Here is a breakdown of the qualifying offers. All are one-year offers.
- Tony DeAngelo: $971,250
- Brendan Lemieux: $971,250
- Alex Georgiev: $735,000
- Ryan Strome: $3.2 million
- Phil Di Giuseppe: $735,000
- Darren Raddysh: $735,000
- Brandon Crawley: $761,250
- Gabriel Fontaine: $735,000
It is unlikely the qualifying offers will be accepted. Especially at the NHL level. The AHL guys might accept their qualifying offers.
