The NY Rangers have selected goalie Dylan Garand with their 4th round pick (#103) in the 2020 NHL Draft. Garand is the first goalie they’ve taken this year.

The Rangers were starting to get thin at goalie in the system. Garand put up some impressive numbers in the WHL this year. Goalies are notoriously hard to predict, but there’s nothing wrong with using a mid round pick on one.
