Among the cuts are Filip Chytil, Vitali Kravtsov, and Ryan Lindren, which would be considered the most surprising cuts. Vinni Lettieri and Igor Shesterkin were expected to be cut. Boo Nieves will be placed on waivers, having been beat out by Greg McKegg. Tarmo Reunanen will go back to Finland for the year, and Joe Morrow has been released from his PTO.
Rick Carpiniello has noted that Micheal Haley will be getting a contract from the Rangers.
The guys that broke camp include Haley, Kaapo Kakko, Lias Andersson, Brett Howden, and Libor Hajek.
