rangers devils chris kreider

The Rangers are back home for a hot second to host the Devils tonight in a game that is essentially meaningless, outside of draft positioning. Both teams are downright awful, although the Devils can probably blame some of that on injuries. However most of it can be blamed on something we should be worried about as Rangers fans in a rebuild, and that is falsely identifying that one randomly good team signals the end of a rebuild.

Back to those Devils and their injuries, look at these lines they are rolling with tonight. They are just awful. There’s about three NHLers dressing at forward. Of course that means this is a trap game for the Rangers, which might bode well because this is a big tank game for draft position. That said, this game seems ripe for the Rangers to win their first since the trade deadline.
