Anthony Duclair notched a goal and an assist for Canada last night in the 2015 World Junior Championships, helping the Canadians beat Finland by a score of 4-1. Team USA also won last night, shutting out Slovakia by a score of 3-0. Brandon Halverson was not in net for this shutout. Canada still leads USA by one point in Group A, but it seems a lock that both teams will advance to the elimination round.
Pavel Buchnevich recorded an assist for Russia, but the Russians fell to the Swedes by a score of 3-2. Igor Shesterkin was not in net for the game. The loss likely locks Russia into second place in Group B, behind Sweden, provided they win out from here.
