Game 12: San Jose twice in October, then never again (this year)

Due to an interesting quirk in the schedule, the Rangers will get the San Jose Sharks tonight in San Jose, and it will be their second and final meeting of the season. The Erik Karlsson’s made their way to New York early in the month, and now the Rangers make their way out tonight. Interesting quirk.

The Sharks are chasing one more shot at the Cup for Joe Thornton. They got Karlsson for a bag of pucks and a draft pick. Their team is stacked and starting to click regularly. They are dangerous, and with the Rangers playing poorly, this could get ugly quickly.

Crazy Prediction: The game is delayed while waiting for the ice to freeze.

Game time is 10:30pm. Yeesh. Good luck to anyone watching.

Boy that Ranger first line makes me ill. Hope this is a Vesey showcase, otherwise it looks like Quinn has lost it already.

Howden centering Vesey and Fast now that makes sense.

I hope Skeji and DeAngelo remain together as a pair for a long time. Sure they’ll give up the more than occasional stupid goal. But they possess the puck really well, and advance it even better.

The first line not to be confused with the GAG line. Ratell centering Gilbert and Hatfield. The famous goal a game line. Give me the good old days. It is going to be a long year .

Kreider’s on pace for 43 goals, 63 points, Zibby for 35 goals, 70 points, and Zucc for 21 goals, 70 points. As a line, that would be 99 goals and 203 points. I’ll take that. (Yeah, I know it’s early yet, and things can change, but why not look at the upside?)

Spot on J7, and no Walter Tkachuk and Billy Fairburn to kill penalties.

I stayed up to watch the game and it was worth it. Very entertaining hockey game. Hank was stellar and the team never gave up. They weren’t perfect, but at some points in the game they outplayed a very good Sharks team. It was fun to watch

It was a great game …. only thing I was shaking my head at was , why is McLeod out there with 5-6 minutes left in the game ?!?!? … makes no sense … oh and Hayes in the 2nd period sitting at the top of the circle and elects not to shoot and then skates out of the zone with the puck ( fire the damn
