2017 NHL Trade Deadline Live Thread

As is annual tradition here at BSB, we are going to be live blogging the trade deadline. There were a bunch of deals made yesterday, and we expect many more to be made today. The Rangers already made a move by acquiring Brendan Smith from Detroit. I expect they are done, given the prices we’ve seen, but you never know. Rangers moves will be bolded.

• Arizona sent Michael Stone to Calgary for 2018 3rd and 2018 5th (conditional) round picks.
• Carolina sent Ron Hainsey to Pittsburgh for a 2017 2nd rounder and Danny Kristo.
• Dallas sent Patrick Eaves to Anaheim for a 2017 2nd round pick (conditional).
• Detroit sent Tomas Jurco to Chicago for a 2017 3rd round pick.
• Tampa Bay sent Ben Bishop and a 5th rounder to LA for Peter Budaj, Eric Cernak, a 2017 7th round pick, and a conditional pick.
