Wow. Bad penalty there, but st. Louis has to clear that potluck.

2-1 Rangers and my point proven about Diaz in the line up to play the Power Play….We need his presence on the point. Referees sure know how to f- up a game. Pouliot was mad that there was no call on the best embellishment so far. Then the non call on McDonagh that led to the Flyers goal. Just BS

  3. The Suit says:

Hey Carcillo is in the lineup for Fast. Hmm coulda sworn someone mentioned on this site yesterday to make that line up change. Weird.

I don’t know it that was some Mr Suit Sarcasm or a genuine comment but it was certainly me. Or at the very least I was one of the fandom calling for Carcillo to be in the lineup in Philly. I thought he’d help keep the Flyers physical attack at bay. I had no clue he would have the impact he did. The goal aside, he was all over the ice. Skated hard and hit what he could. I still think he’s done a good job of staying in check. Despite the penalties he took (one was so far from a PIM) the NHL should call him or put out a statement oppologizing to Carcillo for that Pen in the 3rd where he just lifted the Stick & dove for the puck. Not even close to a penalty. Even tho Carcillo skated real hard and IMO is a voice in the locker room.
I also think Diaz should get a look in game 4. He is the closest thing to a mobile puck moving D we have. He’s capable of running the PP. He gives the Flyers a different look. Announce his entry into the lineup last minute. Miller & Fasth make up the taxi squad this tam.

Like I said, Carcillo earned the right to be in the game. Well, my pisano showed us what he can do, and scores to boot. What more can we ask for?? Fast, please take a seat, with a number, and wait your turn!!!!!!!!

      • Centerman21 says:

Fast played well. He’s a good depth player to have on the sidelines. He’s also getting some much needed NHL experience. He just isn’t able to beat NHL defenseman yet. In a couple of years he’s gonna be a real solid top 9 player.

        • Walt says:

Won’t question that, but I was against them putting him in while Carcillo had to sit. It was just wrong!!!

  4. Bloomer says:

Carcillo in-Fast out works for me. Fast isn’t ready yet and Carcillo has been an impact player down the stretch when the Rangers needed it.

  5. Leatherneckinlv says:

Does anyone agree with the penalty on Dorsett? There were two clear interference/holds that were not called on the Flyers yet they made that cheesey call. Referees should not impact a game so that also goes for the Carcillo penalty and why was the Hagelin Voracek not majors?? Rangers are battling the referees as well…what a shame

    Carrillo made my night.

Bloomer, I have been a Rangers fan since the 60’s but Karma was present today indeed. That was so deserving. I just hate refs dictating a game

    • Bloomer says:

The refs burn my butt too…but can’t do a thing about it…except what Carcillo did….that’s was sooooooooo damn cool. That was the ultimate F** u statement!

  8. Chris F says:

Hockey justice. Carcillo gets blindsided by Reade. No call. Carcillo then gets called for hooking on what was a clean, and impressive, stickcheck on Reade.

Out of the box, to the net, goal!

I just wish someone nailed Reade at some point. Rangers need to show they have some grit and won’t be cheapshotted out of this series.

  9. Leatherneckinlv says:

The Rangers gutted this win…intestinal fortitude was shown. Klein needs to get not dirtier but more physical…The team as a whole did what they had to do and early….score early and win one in philly and they did it with the first game….this win was impressive
