Around the Farm: Shorthanded Wolfpack drop first game of season

The Hartford Wolfpack, missing J.T. Miller, Chris Kreider, Brandon Mashinter, and Cam Talbot, lost their first regulation game of the season to the Portland Pirates by a score of 4-2. Danny Kristo and Kyle Jean scored for the Pack, while Michael St. Croix was held off the score sheet in his AHL debut.       Sather did a good job adding organizational depth through these undrafted free agents. The 2 tall defenseman look good and Conner Allen has quickly become one of the Rangers top defensive prospects right out of UMASS/Amhurst.
