St. Croix promoted to AHL

The Hartford Wolfpack announced today that forward Michael St. Croix has been promoted to the AHL from the ECHL’s Greenville Road Warriors. St. Croix was initially cut by the Wolfpack during AHL training camp earlier this month. In one game with Greenville, St. Croix notched a goal and an assist.

To make room for St. Croix, the Pack demoted forward defenseman Brendon Nash to the ECHL.

    Isn’t Brendon Nash a defenseman?

Good on St. Croix the kid reminds me of a young Marc Savard… a dark horse. but I still think the kid will one day put on a Ranger jersey.

I’m sure he’ll be good – I had him in my GM mode in NHL 13 and developed him pretty nicely. He eventually got to 82 overall by the year 2020 :) (seriously lol)

I am not sure why he didn’t start out in the AHL to begin with. Anyone know?
