The baby Rangers ended their Traverse City tournament on a high note, beating the baby Wild by a score of 5-2. Jesper Fast and Andrew Yogan notched a pair of goals a piece, with Danny Kristo also chipping in with a goal. Kristo also recorded an assist, along with Oscar Lindberg (2), Josh Nicholls, Anthony Duclair, and Connor Allen. Jeff Malcolm made 15 saves in the dominating win. You can check the full game box score here.

Lindberg and Kristo led the team in scoring, each notching seven points (Lindberg: 5-2-7; Kristo: 2-5-7). Yogan (3-0-3), Fast (2-1-3), and Nicholls (2-1-3) were tied for third on the team in scoring. Allen (0-2-2), Graves (1-0-1), St. Croix (0-1-1), Oligny (0-1-1, and Duclair (0-1-1) also recorded points for the Rangers.

Both goaltenders were pretty bad in the tournament, as Malcolm (1-0-1, 3.85 GAA, .857 SV%) and MacKenzie Skapski (0-2-0, 4.00 GAA, .867 SV%) struggled mightily.

I’m not big on +/-, but it’s worth noting that forwards Klarc Wilson (-7) and JT Barnett (-6) appeared to have some issues containing the opposition. On the physical end of things, Allen (once), Wilson (once), Paxton Leroux (thrice), and Troy Donnay (twice) all dropped the gloves during the tournament. You can check full team stats here.
