is it just me or is it totally strange that every time we make the playoffs, we have to play the caps

Agreed. Betts was hit by Brashear one year and they were eliminated. Remember 1-2 years ago the Rangers won like all the games against the Caps in the regular season and than they faced them in the playoffs and were eliminated. Thought for sure the Rangers were gonna win that series. That could happen this year (doubt it). And another year they were eliminated by Pittsburgh. And last year the Devils. It could be the Rangers year to win it. LGR!!!

    This sucks.

    So, what are the predictions?

The Rangers will be heading into the first two games in Washington with a fired-up fanbase who were beginning to doubt the Caps would even make the playoffs but are now one of the leagues hottest teams thanks to a rejuvenated superstar Ovi and a now playoff experienced back-to-form Holtby. Boasting a top PP and a resurgence of core players, this Washington team is definitely looking for payback for last years game 7 loss to the Rangers. I fear this will be a tough one.
