Per Elliotte Friedman, JT Miller has been asked to waive his no-move clause, signaling a trade to the Rangers is close. Naturally, we all know Miller will waive his NMC for the Rangers, as that has been widely reported for over a month now. It was always a matter of time for Miller to waive his NMC for the Rangers, and all signs point to this trade going down tonight. Miller will be a healthy scratch in Vancouver.
Frank Seravalli is reporting more pieces are being included in the move. There are no healthy scratches in Hartford tonight, meaning this is a trade involving NHL players for the most part. This is going to be a monster trade.
Previous reports had Filip Chytil as the centerpiece for a trade. There is no reason to believe otherwise.
More to come.
