The NY Rangers lines tonight will have a new addition. Some guy named Patrick Kane is making his Rangers debut at MSG, and will do so on a line with Artemi Panarin and Vincent Trocheck. The three other forward lines will remain the same, and the Rangers will finally have 12 forwards in the lineup for the first time in a week.
However the Rangers will still have just 5 defensemen, as Ryan Lindgren is out tonight with his shoulder injury. The NHL also denied the Rangers request for an emergency recall, citing the Rangers did this to themselves by using their cap space to trade for Kane. So it’s 12/5/2 until either Lindgren returns or K’Andre Miller finishes his suspension.
