In addition to Patrick Kane being held out of tonight’s game for the Chicago Blackhawks, Darren Dreger is reporting Kane is heading home to await a trade.
It’s believed Kane has returned home and is no longer with the team.

Kane wouldn’t necessarily be a distraction from the team, but it makes sense for him to head home and allow the locker room in Chicago to move on. With Jake Leschyshyn on waivers today and Kane being held out of the lineup, all signs are pointing to the trade happening on deadline day.
