Last night’s win by the NY Rangers came at a cost. Both Julien Gauthier and Chris Kreider were injured, and no updates were provided during the postgame. Gauthier left in the first period after getting sandwiched by hits from Ryan Reaves and Brandon Duhaime. Kreider left in the third after what looked like a normal bump.

As of now, there are no updates on either player. Luckily the Rangers have a bit of a light week, with just Dallas at MSG on Thursday before back to backs on Sunday/Monday. Hopefully both aren’t out long term, as that would spell close to disaster for the Rangers and their relatively thin forward group.
If one is out, Sammy Blais draws into the lineup. If both are out, then possibly Gustav Rydahl gets recalled?
