This is one the Rangers should win easily, but this is also one where taking the night off will lead to problems with Montreal’s top line.
Jaro Halak is in net after a strong win against Florida to kick off the new year. He seems to be rounding into form, something we’ve been waiting for all season. Better late than never, and Montreal’s top line is really the only threat tonight. Well, the only threat aside from the Rangers themselves, who routinely play down to bad opponents.
